A TRANSCENDENT EXPRIENCE
Cask No. 93.208
sold out
The nose combined patisseries and ice-cream parlours – ice-cream, pear Belle Helene, orange sorbet – glazed tarts, candied angelica, lemon zest, strawberries and cream – but also Danish oil on wood, agave tequila and triple sec. The juicy palate was sweetly delicious – red fruits, blood orange, Peach Melba and apricots in syrup, but with a cheeky kick of pepper, cinnamon and clove. The reduced nose was more ‘orangey’ (orange oil, orange blossom, chocolate orange creams) but also held kirsch, honeycomb and heather and lily in a leather-upholstered car. The reduced palate – custard creams and Greek yoghurt with apricot pieces. The distillery rhymes with ‘orangey’.
