Imagine lying on a comfortable reclining sun lounger on the veranda of a beach house with a Planter’s Punch cocktail:  rum, fresh lime juice, Angostura bitters and sugar cane juice. On the palate neat there was plenty of spice adding to the “one of sour, two of sweet, three of strong and four of weak”! 

Some “weak” (water) and the scent was sweet, floral fresh, mint and lime, lemon sorbet as well as coconut water and the taste fizzy and playful, vanilla sweetness and juicy - sunshine in a glass. After 8 years in an ex-bourbon barrel, we transferred this whisky into a refill barrel that previously matured rum from Belize.
