FRAGILE FRUITS AND FLOATY FLOWERS
Cask No. 70.53
sold out
We knocked at the door of a very smart looking cottage and when the door was answered we stepped into an immaculate vestibule. It had a beautiful Spanish Moorish pattern tiled floor, antique brass wall candle holders and a coat closet with brand new Barbour jackets hanging on coat hangers beside newly waxed leather boots. We were invited in and enjoyed toast with clover honey; very delicate, sweet and floral as well as homemade elderflower cordial. When we asked for water the aroma turned so delicate, almost fragile; peach ice cream with candied angelica and so too was the mouthfeel - unbelievably soft and smooth.
